…then she broke the silence…

Hello everyone,

I’m so very sorry for how quiet I’ve been for the past days, I have been working like the clappers!

My poor little laptop had a wobble as I was editing my 10 cards 1 kit video (which resulted in a loop on the voice over 😢) so I’ve been trying to be as gentle with it as possible since! – Fingers crossed Santa is reading this particular blog post…

And other than that I’ve been packing bags of happy, bags and bag and bags! But I am now very relieved to report that every kit is now boxed and ready for shipping Thursday!

I do still have a few available in case you were undecided 🙂

I am now going to attempt to answer all of my emails, I’m so sorry I’ve not been back to you all!! I need a little team of elves to help me!

I hope you are all having crafty Sundays! Happy papercrafting! 🙂 xx

LFL December 16 kit update!

Well oh my goodness!!

Where do I start?!

I spent most of yesterday being anxious and fidgety worrying that I wouldn’t sell a single kit, then disaster struck… my last seminar didn’t finish at 4 at all, but all 4:30 so I was frantically releasing everything from my phone trying not to offend the fantastic speaker! I then quickly put my phone away and focused on the rest of the talk.

I walked out of the seminar and looked at my phone, (now please don’t judge me) and cried. I had within 28 minutes sold over 20% of my stock, and trust me, this month I aimed for the stars with volumes!

I didn’t know what to do with myself, I was supposed to be mingling and making contacts and it was all I could do to keep it together!

You beautiful, fantastic, like-minded craftoholics have overwhelmed me, I’m never at a loss for words… (anyone that has been trapped on the phone with me will know that) but you all have done it. I’m positively in shock!

Now; if you have managed to read this far – then I applaud you, as until now it’s all been about me, so here’s for you, every single kit I send out this month is going to have an extra gift from me in it, lets call it a Christmas present to show you all how much I value you 🙂

Approximately 70% of the stock is now sold and the pre-sale reduced price (£22.00) ends in a little over 3 hours from now and reverts to regular price (£25.00) so if you want one jump in and treat yourself to a little glitz and glam!

With as much

Love from Lizi

As I can muster 💖💖💖💖💖

Design Team Call!

Hello everybody!

Well, everything is going swimmingly here at LFL HQ! So much so that I am able to put out a call for design team applications earlier than I had thought!

I am looking for a small team to commit to three months; starting with the January 17 card kit.

If this is something you are interested in please send me between 3 and 10 photos of your cards or projects. Also a short blurb about yourself, where you live, what you do, why you craft etc. Plus any links you have to any blogs, Instagram, Youtube, or any other social media you may have.

I am very happy to support those with no design team experience – we all start somewhere! It is also no problem for the team to be global, so please don’t be put off if you aren’t in the UK.

Please send applications to designteam@lovefromlizi.com

Applications are open now and will close Tuesday the 6th of December! I would of course love to see makes with my kits, but understand not everyone got one.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Happy paper crafting 🙂 xx

Lest we forget.

A post a little out of the ordinary today, just a stand alone card, also created using a technique I don’t usually adopt… freehand.

Today I have been very thoughtful. Thinking of those that so courageously fought to maintain freedom for everybody else.

My love and gratitude  to every fallen soul

I used Nuvo; pure sheen glitter, glimmer paste in garnet red, crystal drops in ebony black, woodland green and glitter drops in sunlit meadow. Nuvo pen 505 – silver. Two widths of double sided tape, Simon Says Stamp 120lb cardstock, T-square ruler and Papermania bone folder.

The YouTube demonstration video is following shortly.

Happy papercrafting 🙂 xx

LFL Nov 16 CK – Card 6

Hi all!

Here’s card 6 and a gentle reminder that the patterned papers from this November 16 kit and another set accented with gold have been released in the shop!

For this card I cut a strip of the glitter patterned paper and stamped both the snowflake border and sentiment directly onto the card base using the silver pigment ink. I heat set solver embossing powder over the tip to make sure there wasn’t any bleeding of the ink.

I then glued the striped piece to the left of center and die cut the largest snowflake from both a left over white circle and a piece of the silver mirror card. I paper pieced the snowflake back together in the circle and die cut some of the smaller snowflakes from the silver. I foam mounted the large snowflake off the edge of he card and cut way the overhang, then wet glued the smaller flakes across the front of the card Base.  I attached a few of the pearl gems and that’s the card today!

Thanks for stopping by, until tomorrow, happy papercrafting 🙂 xx

LFL Nov 16 CK – Card 5

Hello all,

Well this is the second time I’m typing this post out! **must hit save**

A little update… the papers from the November 16 card kit are being listed in the shop tonight, I only have limited stock sadly.

Here’s card number 5 for you;

To start I trimmed a piece of patterned paper and randomly stamped the snowflake stamps in the white pigment ink, then covered with embossing powder and heat set it.

I then mounted it onto a piece of silver mirror card with wet glue. I cut 3 strips of ribbon and created loops using double sided sticky tape. Then ran a line of sticky tape along the bottom backside of the panel and attached the 3 loops of ribbon. I foam mounted the panel onto my card base, ran a Merry Christmas peel off to the bottom right corner and added a few silver sequins for a little shine.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this, I’ll be back tomorrow with card 6!

Until then happy papercrafting! 🙂 xx
